Relay For Life Video Introduction

There is a wonderful opportunity to create a meaningful event in your community that celebrates those who have lived, are living, and moving past cancer. The Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life event brings neighbors, friends, and community influencers together, united by the common goal of creating a world where no Canadian fears cancer. The experience of cheering on survivors, walking the track, and joining in a range of trackside activities at Relay For Life (RFL) creates an unforgettable evening!

Logistics Lead

As the Logistic Lead, you are positive, organized, resourceful, and can lift 30 lbs. You will work with other leads to plan the event day activities, including the timing for setup and take-down, and the schedule of events. You will also coordinate the location for any pick-ups and deliveries and provide logistics support to all committee members.  You are a people person and will experience a strong sense of satisfaction when you faciltate all the pieces of the Relay event coming together.

The committee will meet regularly over the course of the year, with increasing commitments as the event approaches. Each committee member will have their own portfolio but will share a passion for the mission: to provide the opportunity for those affected by cancer to come together and draw support while raising funds for critical, life-saving cancer research and programs.
