Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 12th Annual Cypress Challenge in support of the BC Cancer Foundation and Pancreas Centre BC. Since 2008, Cypress Challenge has raised over $2.9 million towards finding solutions for the 800 British Columbians who are estimated to be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this year. Seventy-five per cent of these patients won’t survive the first year, and less than 10 per cent will survive five years.

Your participation and support will help enable experts at BC Cancer to better understand and treat this disease, bringing hope to families facing pancreatic cancer across our province.

Over 100 positions are available, covering several different types of roles and responsibilities, including some in advance of event day, so we have a position for you! The event runs August 9th - 11th 2019 and we have opportunities available for each day.

For example:

  • Registration and Package Pick up
  • Event Set up
  • Route Team
  • Start Line Crew
  • Finish Line Crew
  • Parking and Traffic Control
  • Coat and Bag Check
  • Event Shuttle and Sweep Team
  • Traffic Marshal
  • Bike Valet Assistant
  • …and more!
