Heart and Stroke Volunteer Position
The friendly and professional volunteer receptionist is the first point of contact for guests to the office and over the phone. The volunteer receptionist provides exceptional customer service and supports the staff team with a variety of administrative duties. You will play a key role in ensuring the Heart and Stroke Foundation can provide excellent customer service to our community.
Welcomes guests to the office and provides support and direction
Direct calls to appropriate staff and resources
Assist staff with a variety of administrative projects such as data entry, file management and event preparation.
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Friendly, confident and self-motivated
Comfortable in word, excel, and online
Prior general office experience is preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail
Half day shifts are availiable, during office hours (M-F 9:00am-4:00pm) on an ongoing weekly basis. A minimum 3 month commitment is requested.

Work with a dynamic, skilled group of dedicated volunteers and staff who play an important part in raising awareness and eliminating heart disease and stroke
Supervisory Relationships/liaison: Candidate will be supervised by, and liaise with, the Office Services Administrator.
