is seeking YOUTH volunteer members for our Board of Directors!  If you are passionate about the arts, culture, heritage and making an impact in the Region of Peel we invite you to apply.  This is an opportunity for students or graduates to gain valuable experience.  We welcome your interest  in arts & culture community and membership development, fundraising, and more.

PAMA is a place for building community that embraces diversity and inclusion, contributes to well-being and is fostering innovation. Highlights include Sikh Heritage month, exhibitions on First Nations, Black History, works on paper, literary festival, veterans, Peel history and more.  Art exhibitions feature international, national, local and student artists.

General Youth Board Member Duties

• Attend and actively participate in 10 Board meetings per year, downtown Brampton, 3rd Thursday of the month (except December, meeting date TBD) participation by video conference is an option;
• Commitment to work with other board members as well as independently on assigned activities in an area of interest including but not limited to:
• fundraising
• community & youth involvement
• membership & volunteer development
• programming & acquisition
• Attend exhibition openings and other events

Please note that Directors may not receive financial compensation or apply for solo exhibitions while serving on the board. Board positions are elected for 3 year terms at the Annual General Meeting held in May.
