New Harassment Risks for Ontario Employers

Summary: A recent ruling on harassment by the Ontario Superior Court is a wakeup call for employers. Referred to as the “tort of harassment” and “harassment as an independent cause of action,” the Superior Court ruling makes it easier for employees to sue their employer for damages resulting from workplace harassment. In this recorded webinar, harassment specialist, investigator and clinician Donna Marshall, explains new risks and responsibilities facing not for profit employers with regard to how they prevent, manage and respond to incidents of harassment in their workplace.
