Future Bright is a free Elizabeth Fry Society of Greater Vancouver program that helps parents and guardians access up to $3,200 for their child’s education through the Canada Learning Bond (CLB) and BC Training and Education Savings Grant (BCTESG). This money is free for you to claim for your child and you don’t have to contribute any money yourself. To be eligible a child must:

  • Have been born in 2004 or later.
  • Have a Social Insurance Number.
  • Reside in Canada.
Plus, the parent or guardian must:
  • Have a net family income under $47,630.
  • Have a Social Insurance Number.
  • Have filed taxes for at least 1 year since the eligible child was born.
