Bilingual Immigration Administrator

L’Arche Canada is seeking a Bilingual Immigration Administrator to work in partnership with the leadership development team and the Assistants Coordinators/HR responsible from across the country to ensure that successful international candidates are supported to obtain the necessary work permits and work permit renewals.

Program Officer

This frontline position involves direct casework with individuals experiencing anti-LGBQTI+ persecution internationally. Every request we receive is processed by our intake officer and then assigned to one of 3 case workers who work to support them in finding routes to safety.

Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant will perform a variety of administrative, logistical, program delivery and operational duties to support a variety of initiatives led by the CEO, and members of the Leadership Team. In addition, the EA will support the work of the Outreach Team, and will report to the Manager, Key Partnerships on outreach expectations.

Career Focused Client Engagement Worker

The role of Career-Focused CEW will assist ITIs with foreign credential assessment and recognition processes including researching the necessary steps to re-enter their career or an alternative according to clients’ educational background, needs, interests, and skills. Also, it will support the creation of individual career action plans and connect ITIs with other required services including credential evaluation and financial supports. In conjunction with other team members, the Career-Focused CEW will assist ITIs strengthening their job search skills including associated activities such as interviewing, resume writing and crafting cover letters and provide current labor market information to guarantee the success of participants.

Employment Specialist

The Employment Specialist will support clients from assessment through to employment. This will be
done by providing ongoing assistance and follow up to monitor progress by linking clients with appropriate community and employment supports, providing job coaching and training opportunities.

Refugee Program Support Intern
