Plastics Campaigner

We are seeking a Plastics Campaigner who will support our work to reduce single-use plastics in Canada. The incumbent is preferably bilingual in French and English and will work in our Ottawa or Toronto office, with Ottawa being the ideal location. The Campaigner will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and execute Oceana Canada’s campaign to end single-use plastics by calling for plastic-free policies, public spaces and consumer choices. This position requires strong persuasion, communications, problem-solving, project management and grassroots campaigning skills. The ideal candidate is action- and detail-oriented, with experience working collaboratively to advance policy. The Campaigner will report to the Campaign Director, based in Ottawa.
