Indigenous Homelessness Systems Coordinator

The Indigenous Homelessness Systems Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Project Lead and Coalition of Hamilton Indigenous Leadership by engaging with the Indigenous Community Advisory Board, agencies serving Indigenous people experiencing homelessness and the Indigenous community-at-large to plan, develop and implement, in collaboration with the City of Hamilton’s Housing Services Division, an Indigenous Homelessness Community Plan.

Regional Program and Volunteer Coordinator

The position of Regional Program and Volunteer Coordinator will be one of two positions in the region covering Peel, Halton, Waterloo, Wellington, Hamilton, and surrounding areas. Knowledge Management & Learning Officer – Municipal Climate Innovation Program / Agent(e) de gestion des connaissances et des apprentissages, Programme Municipalités pour l’innovation climatique (PMIC)

The Officer will report to the Advisor, Planning, Reporting, and Knowledge and Manager Capacity Building as a matrix role supporting knowledge management across the program. As the Knowledge Management & Learning Officer, you will be responsible for producing and mobilizing existing and new climate adaptation and mitigation guides, tools, online courses and training materials and will also support the communication of program results. The Officer will serve as a knowledge hub and work across different teams to capture learning and create opportunities to share and communicate them, and track how these are used and applied. The incumbent will also support the development and refinement of knowledge products as needs are identified and seek ways to communicate municipal, partner and the program’s success through effective storytelling. The Officer will also research and provide advice and recommendations to the Advisor on trends, major issues, and gaps in resources available to the municipal sector.

Le titulaire du poste soutiendra également le développement et le perfectionnement des produits de connaissances au fur et à mesure que les besoins sont identifiés et cherchera des moyens de communiquer le succès des municipalités, des partenaires et du programme par le biais d’une narration efficace. L’agent(e) effectuera également des recherches et fournira des conseils et des recommandations au conseiller à propos des tendances, des principaux problèmes et des lacunes concernant les ressources disponibles pour le secteur municipal.

Global Services & Logistics Director

Working closely with the International Partners Director, country-based and Hamilton-based teams, this role provides the tactical planning and strategy to deliver the full range of services and logistics for 50 one and two-week health care delivery project teams and 846 participating volunteers travelling from North America to 23 countries each year.
