Support Staff

Support Staff in the 24-hr respite program, under the direction of the Program Coordinators, will primarily be responsible for providing essential services to guests and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the property.

Hoarding Support Volunteer: Mental Health

Provide support to an individual experiencing mental health needs. Bring your patience, empathy and related mental health experience. Gain experience and training in Motivational interviewing to help a client to make decisions to help declutter the home, making it healthier and more functional.

Child and Family Support Volunteer (Infants & Toddlers)

Support infants and toddlers and provide relief, support and resources to a new mom. Help mom become engaged and supported with resources in the community. Use your infant and toddler care experience, and your interest in community resources to support mom and family and further your experience at the same time.

ESL Tutor (In-Home)

Change a life by helping a newcomer mom learn and improve her conversational English so that she can engage confidently in her community. Use your teaching or tutoring or coaching experience and gain more experience while you help another person.

Casual Relief

Locations: Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga, Georgetown, Halton Hills

Hours of Work: We are looking for candidates who are able to work up to 24 hours a week, days/ afternoons/evenings /nights awake shifts, rotational and on-call.

Wellness Volunteer

Wellness Volunteer required at Heart House Hospice. Free training to perform Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Hand/Foot Massage.
