Drop-In Manager

For more than thirty years WISH has offered a safe place of respite for women involved in street-based sex work. The women who access WISH services and programs are some of the most marginalized people in Vancouver; experiencing extreme poverty, homelessness, social exclusion, violence, racism, discrimination and the relentless effects of current and past trauma.

Outreach Worker

The Mobile Jewish Response to Homelessness outreach van program operates 6 times per week (Monday – Thursday 6pm-12am, Saturday 6pm-12am, and Sundays 12pm-6pm) in the downtown Toronto area. The Outreach Worker facilitates the distribution of essential supplies such as food, coffee, clothing, hygiene products, and harm reduction supplies to those who live on or near the street. The Outreach Worker also provides supportive services and referrals to other community organizations as needed. As this program is a hands-on volunteer opportunity in which each shift includes the participation of three volunteers, including youth, the Outreach Worker is responsible for an educational component as well.

Victim Response Coordinator

The Victim Response Coordinator will establish collaborative community responses to human trafficking. and provide case management to trafficked persons throughout Alberta. Summer School Residence Counsellors

Residence Counsellors will work directly with youth aged 9 – 16 years, who are attending Canada’s National Ballet School’s Summer School Program. Counsellors will supervise and care for students during Summer School (July 2020).

Parent Support Worker

Reporting to the Family Resilience Program Coordinator, the Parent Support Worker will be a welcome addition to the team at PRC. The incumbent will be responsible for helping to support FRP clients from intake to program completion and to work to introduce new organizations and vulnerable populations to our services. S/he will work primarily with the Parent Support Line, providing direct client support, as well as with program staff to gather resource materials for clients and support in-home services as needed. Your compassion, expertise and ability to advocate for our clients will be key to help ensure their success.

Family/ Child and Youth Therapist

Yorktown requires a skilled and enthusiastic family and child therapist with fluency in English to provide clinical services to a diverse multi-cultural population. This position is located within our Family Child and Youth counselling service and provides a range of individual, family, group and walk in services to a complex and multi-cultural clientele.
