Development Coordinator – Southern Alberta

The Development Coordinator (DC) is responsible for the overall fundraising success for the Southern Alberta region. Working with volunteer committees, the DC will be responsible for the planning, management and execution of fundraising events, including the Gutsy Walk, as well as education symposia in the assigned areas.

Communications Coordinator, Western Canada

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Communications-Brand & Fundraising, we need a Communications Coordinator, Western Canada. Based in our Calgary office, this is an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for someone who wants to provide external public relations support for a variety of fundraising and mission projects including: media relations, media monitoring, social media, writing and/or editing communications materials, developing relationships with Heart & Stroke spokespeople, and coordinating public relations projects. This is an opportunity to work collaboratively with internal teams, partners, agencies, and volunteers.

Donor Relations Officer

This new position will work collaboratively with a small, passionate team, to engage, steward and identify individual and family donors with the capacity to support Y2Y’s conservation work across the US and Canada at a higher level.

Executive Director

Reporting to the Executive Committee of the AFRHP, the Executive Director is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the AFRHP and ensuring the needs and expectations of its members are met. The Executive Director establishes, nurtures and maintains relationships with all stakeholders and partners, and ensures achievement of business objectives, financial controls and monitors performance measures for the organization. The Executive Director will balance responsibilities in a multi-faceted environment and be thoroughly committed to the AFRHP’s mission and vision.

Volunteers for Elizabeth Fry Society of Edmonton’s Symposium

We are having a Symposium event to celebrate 40 years of Elizabeth Fry. We require volunteers to assist us in a variety of ways.

Program Facilitator – Edmonton Attendance Center

The Elizabeth Fry Society of Edmonton is looking for a part-time Program Facilitator for its Edmonton Attendance Center – Anger Management and Addictions Programs. The program runs on the weekend, with approximately 13 hours of facilitation per week.
