Family Service Coordinator

We are seeking a caring, responsible “people person” to fill the position of part-time Family Service Coordinator (FSC) at the House.

The FSC supports the Mark Preece Family House vision and goals by effectively managing day-to-day operations in the House. The FSC responds to guests’ needs in a professional and empathic manner, supervises volunteers and housekeeping staff, performs administrative tasks including invoicing and handling monetary transactions, as well as light housekeeping duties. The FSC, like every employee at the Mark Preece House, upholds our House principles, values and safe workplace guidelines.

Regional Program and Volunteer Coordinator

The position of Regional Program and Volunteer Coordinator will be one of two positions in the region covering Peel, Halton, Waterloo, Wellington, Hamilton, and surrounding areas. The goal of the regional model is to strengthen the capacity of families and caregivers to achieve the mission and vision of Autism Ontario in the Central West region. This position will actively be involved with the evaluation and implementation of the pilot model and both the volunteer and staffing roles associated with it.

Program Manager (Part Time)

As Program Manager (part time), you believe that schools have infinite possibilities to support young people in the development of social-emotional well-being through structural, staff, parent and direct student interventions. Your primary role will be to design and implement evidence-informed workshops and training for students, staff and parents. In addition, you will support Common Compass in strengthening relationships with schools, assessing strengths and challenges within school environments when it comes to social-emotional well-being.
