Job Description

To be an excellent administrative associate you must be organized and detail-oriented. Communication skills and attention to detail will set you apart amongst other candidates.

The goal will be to assist the managers in facilitating the effective management of programs and events according to the association’s standards.

Responsibilities

· Answer incoming calls

· Support planning and coordination of programs and events, committee meetings, training programs, conferences and trade shows

· Assist with database updates

  Manage communications to our members

· Prepare Board Documentation

· Handle Social Media posts

· Understand the requirements for each event

· Provide support to management in the Planning of events with attention to detail

· Research vendors and choose the best combination of quality and cost

Requirements

· Tech-savvy, proficient in MS Office

· Excellent time-management and organizational skills

· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

· Detail-oriented and efficient

· Post-secondary education

· Working in a not for Profit environment an asset

· Well-organized with multi-tasking skills

· Able to handle stress and remain calm

· Problem-solving ability

  Bilingual (English/French) is an asset

· Occasional travel to events, meetings and trade shows will be required
