Communications Coordinator

The Communications Coordinator is responsible for leading the organization’s communications strategy, to expand and strengthen our reach with 2SLGBTQ+ youth, service providers, donors, and supporters across Ontario; they will also develop and implement engagement strategies to strengthen communications with potential and current donors.

Full-Time & Part-Time Support Workers

Mission Services is part of the coordinated access system in Hamilton for both men’s and women’s homelessness. We are responding to the ever-changing needs during the COVID-19 crisis. We are looking for staff to help in the Men’s Shelter and Willow’s Place (low-barrier day space for women). You could also be working in other temporary locations where men or women experiencing homelessness will be served.

The User Support Manager will provide quick, friendly customer service to our community of volunteers, texters, and outside parties. They’ll become an expert on the ins and outs of the Crisis Text Line platform and serve as a one touch solution finder.

Kids Help Phone offers a 24/7 service providing support to youth through texting. The Supervisor, Texting at Kids Help Phone will recruit, train and provide real-time supervision of remotely located volunteer responders.

Manager, Texting Supervisor

The Manager, Texting Supervision is responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of the texting service by overseeing Texting Supervisors and supporting them, and the texting service for success. This position is best suited for someone who can measure and achieve KPIs, have difficult conversations, manage a large team, identify gaps and determine creative solutions.

Counseling Manager / Manager – centres d’intervention (Counseling Manager)

As a Counseling Manager, you will be responsible to oversee that the highest possible quality of telephone and chat counseling, information and referral service is delivered by the Kids Help Phone Counsellors. The successful individuals will provide counselors with management, support, supervision, and leadership.

Texting Coach / Coach — services texto (Texting coach)

The Texting Coach provides feedback to Crisis Responders concerning their crisis intervention skills, develops and supervises performance management plans, and collaborates with Texting Supervisors to ensure reliable, consistent, and well-rounded support for continued volunteer success and advancement. All services are provided in accordance with the mission, vision values and established protocols of the Company.
Since this is a work from home role, candidates must have access to:
· Stable telephone and internet access.
· Work space that supports confidentiality and minimizes distractions.

Le Coach – Services texto est responsable d’offrir aux répondants aux crises de la rétroaction axée sur les habiletés à intervenir en situation de crise, en plus d’élaborer et de superviser les plans de gestion de la performance et de collaborer avec les superviseurs des services texto dans le but d’offrir un service en continu, constant et complet afin d’assurer la réussite et l’avancement professionnel des bénévoles. Veiller à ce que les services offerts soient alignés à la mission, la vision, les valeurs et les protocoles établis par l’organisation.
Puisqu’il s’agit d’un travail à domicile, les candidats doivent avoir accès à:
– Une connexion Internet fiable et une ligne téléphonique
– Un espace de travail dédié qui respecte la confidentialité et offre un minimum de distractions.

Concepteur(trice) Pédagogique (Création de ressources pour l’enseignement du FLS)

Concevoir certaines ressources (structure de module pédagogique pouvant être reproduite par les consultants, etc.). S’assurer que les ressources pédagogiques créées soient conformes aux NCLC et aux principes de l’ELBP.

BSO Therapeutic Recreation Clinician

The BSO Therapeutic Recreation Clinician position is responsible for planning, organizing and facilitation of a local Long Term Care Home therapeutic recreation program supporting the broader Central West Local Health Integration Behavioural Support Ontario (BSO) Network.
