Original broadcast date: Thursday, September 13, 2018
Summary: This recorded webinar will consider how to successfully implement volunteer succession planning by bridging the gap between millennial and boomer volunteers. We explore how to do this by creating desirable, value-added experiences to develop strong volunteer-centred engagement programs that are aligned with the Canadian Code of Volunteer standards (CCVI) best practices. In this webinar, we will also discuss ways to engage the growing population of millennial (and younger!) volunteers such as micro-volunteer opportunities, ambassador programs, and leaders of tomorrow programs, and learn how to connect these successes to the development of a fully engaged volunteer program.
